How to Boost Your Skin Care Routine For Fall

    August 26, 2022

Gone are the heated days of summer. Upon us are shorter cooler days and dryer skin, bummer. You see summer has our skin glowing and well moisturized but that is not the case for the cooler months ahead. Your skin care routine has to change with the season and your wardrobe. How to boost your skincare routine for fall gives you a couple of tips to allow your skin to flourish during the cool crisp weather ahead. Start now to get a jumpstart on your routine.

    Hydrate

You will hear this time and again. I do not care the season, you need to hydrate your body. Drinking tons of water has “tons” of benefits. Don’t question it just believe me, do your research if you don’t and drink up.

    Change your cleansers

Ditching the harsh cleansers that are good for the removal of dirt, sweat and grime of the summer is a good ideas. A cream cleanser is gentle and more moisturizing. Changing your cleansers to a creamier cleanser can aid in keeping your skin more moisturized for the cooler months ahead.

    Skip

Skip the scolding showers. Hot showers remove moisture from your skin leaving it dry and dull looking. Dry skin has a tendency of aging you. Hot showers are very relaxing but they do no justice for the skin cells, lukewarm showers are best. If you want to make sure that your skin stays hydrated and well balanced, turn the hot water down a notch.

    Moisturize

You need the thick stuff for the dryer seasons ahead. In the cooler months your skin tends to become drier and more tight, it can also become more itchy. Using a hydrating lotion such as Eucerin or Aveeno can assist in combatting dryness

    Exfoliate

Exfoliating your skin has many benefits, especially in the cooler months. Some of the benefits of exfoliating include the improvement of skin texture, balancing skin tone by removing dead and dry skin cells. It also Unclogs pores, stimulates cell renewal, boosts circulation and improves moisture absorption.

Show your lips some love too

Do not skip the lips. Prevent dry, chapped lips by applying a lip balm. Lip care should be a part of your daily routine. Make sure you keep your lips kissable.

You already have a routine, how to boost your skincare for fall gives you ideas so that all you have to do is a little swap of some products that are more beneficial for cooler weather. Changing a few little things should not add any more time to your routine but your skin will that you for it.
