We all have our favorite tools that aid us in accomplishing our day to day tasks, our to do list and our goals. I am no expert and I will happily change things up when it no longer works for me. Want to see how I get things accomplished? Here I am sharing my favorite six productivity tools you need today to get you to accomplish your task
Asana & Trello
The tool that I probably use the most is Asana. Asana/ Trello- both are project management tools. At times I use both. Trello was what I started with all the way back in 2014. I really dove into it when I was growing my salon business. There have even been opportunities where I taught a few classes on it.
Now, as I have gotten older and know how my brain works, I mostly use Asana because I like how I can set up each board to view it how I need to se it, none the less you should be using either of these two. You can find everything you need to know about Asana and Trello.
Focus to do
Focus to do app – Pomodoro technique/method. They have a free version where you can get… In my case I am happy to pay for the upgrade because of the added features. This method aids you on being more efficient with your time. It helps you to stay focused for a specific amount of time and then you get a break for a specific amount of time. The Pomodoro method suggest 25 min focus time and 5 minute break time but you can adjust the timing to suit your needs. The great thing about the app is that you can create tasks, or to do list within the app, that way you truly know where you need to put your attention. I am newish to this method I find that it truly works for me as it forces me to take a break
A planner
Planner/ google calendar- I use them in conjunction. I plan my week every Sunday. I take a look at my Google calendar to see what I have going on and plan everything else accordingly.
Planoly
Planoly gives me a rough view of my IG grid and helps me to plan the look of my feed. Let’s be honest here, we are all more attracted to a “pretty” or thought out grid than a scattered mesh of stuff, you’ve seen these feeds and you know what I am talking about. Planoly help my grid to not look like a scatted mesh of thing.
Google Docs
Google Docs & Microsoft word are good for writing on the go. When I’m in line at the grocery store I can swipe to either of these apps and get my thoughts out. For obvious reasons I love Microsoft office but Google Docs is easy to learn and syncs well with Google Drive
A Legal pad
Keeping a legal pad, notebook or a piece of paper comes in hand to jot down any ideas that you come up with. They are also good for the occasional brain dump.
This is a short list as I like to keep things simple but these are the four productivity apps that you need today that I use every single day to make my life run as simply as possible. Do you have a favorite app that you wouldn’t mind sharing?
